Accessibility
We want QR Workshop to work for everyone, and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. It hasn't had a formal outside audit.
What's built in
- Everything works from a keyboard, including painting single squares, and a skip link appears when you start tabbing.
- Generated codes come with written descriptions for screen readers.
- The More menu has larger text and an easier-reading spacing option.
- Type uses Atkinson Hyperlegible, a font designed for legibility.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, the page's animation stops.
- Pages work at high zoom and on phones, where the menu moves to the bottom of the screen.
- The app is available in English and Spanish. These policy pages are in English only for now, and the Spanish translation hasn't had a human review yet.
Known limits
A QR code is a visual object. Picture codes in particular can't be fully described in words, so please add the link as text wherever you print one.
Report a problem
If something doesn't work for you, email spencer@bond.enterprises with the page and what went wrong, and we'll work on it.
